Shahin RabbaniResearcher at Ubisoft
|
I am a researcher in animation and physics simulation at Ubisoft Montreal R&D, La Forge. I have worked on human character simulation and control. My main interests are computer animation & graphics, virtual characters, robotics, machine learning, and fluid simulation.
I have two first names: The ID name, Amir Hossein, and what my mom calls me, Shahin. I appreciate when people use the latter. As much as I love the abstract world of mathematics and computer science, I enjoy trying their concepts in practice, particularly in game development and visual arts creation. This website serves multiple purposes. A place to find and follow my research work. A channel to share technical notes, tutorials or ideas that might be helpful for the community. A blog to flush out random rants on numbers, fractals, or something like an inconclusive philosophy chat you might have with a stranger at the bus station. There is a pile of post drafts accumulated offline over the years. The plan is to start posting them and keep the flow nice and steady. So stay tuned! |
